About the PSA:

Landlords use harassment and neglected repairs as tactics to force tenants our of their homes. In fact, 1.2 million New Yorkers live in “deficient housing,” with three or more open code violations present and unaddressed at any given time. The Exercise Your Rights PSA promotes JustFix’s digital tools that assist tenants in having a safer and healthier home.

JustFix creates tools to fight displacement and achieve stable, healthy housing for all. We use technology as a means to further housing justice and empower underrepresented tenants to organize, take action against landlord harassment, and fight wrongful evictions. JustFix believes housing is a human right. By leveraging technology with housing justice movements, we seek to shift power to historically disenfranchised communities.
