About the PSA:
You Serve New York, Now Let Us Serve You brings awareness to resources and benefits for people who have experienced a severe loss of income due to the pandemic. As the Excluded Workers Fund reaches its funding limit, the Jewish Community Center of Greater Coney Island is running a community outreach campaign that connects excluded workers and people who had severe loss of income, especially those located in the South Brooklyn area, to all of the additional services that are currently available to them. These services include, but are not limited to: SNAP benefits, Medicaid services, food pantries, rent assistance, senior services, and immigration services.
Thank you to the Jewish Community Center of Greater Coney Island for providing this PSA. JCCGCI is a community-based organization with a citywide scope, providing a wide-spectrum of senior citizen, vocational, educational, crime-reduction, community revitalization and related services benefiting all segments of the population. JCCGCI is also a technical assistance provider, offering capacity building services to nonprofits in all five boroughs through its NonProfit HelpDesk division. With 40 program sites throughout New York City staffed by almost 350 social service professionals, JCCGCI assists an average of upwards of 2,500 needy individuals and families each day.
