In response to the increase in personal protective equipment (PPE) litter because of COVID-19, New York City's Department of Sanitation and Department of Health want to educate New Yorkers on how to properly remove and dispose of their masks, gloves and PPE so it doesn’t end up on our streets and ultimately our waterways.
This PSA is a highly-targeted advertising campaign concentrating on PPE litter hotspots via poster displays in local supermarkets, hospitals and local businesses, and ads on LinkNYC kiosks, bus shelters, social media, and the F.Y. Eye PSA Network.
About the PSA Our climate is changing rapidly, endangering our communities and jeopardizing our future. We must confront this threat together in the upcoming election. The single most important day-to-day thing you can do, now and after November, is to talk about the climate crisis. As the climate crisis accelerates, our vote this election will reverberate powerfully, in fact determinatively, for years to come.
