Community Help in Park Slope (CHiPS) is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit. They serve breakfast and lunch six days a week, and distribute pantry bags twice a week on-site and another three times a week off-site through our Mobile Pantry Van program. These services are available to anyone who needs them. They also have a residence program that provides temporary housing and support to pregnant women and women with young children.
This PSA aims at spreading awareness about our work at CHiPS and the prevalence of food and housing insecurity in general in New York City. CHiPS hopes to reach people who may be in need of our services, as well as people who may be able to support our work.
