There are currently 10,000 New Yorkers waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant and we do not have nearly enough donors. Many will die waiting for a transplant that will never come. The LiveOnNY PSA aims to educate the public about the power of organ, eye and tissue donation and to encourage all New Yorkers to sign up as lifesaving organ donors.
LiveOnNY is a nonprofit organization that facilitates organ donation and transplantation in the greater New York City area. Their teams work with local hospitals and transplant centers to deliver the gift of life to the nearly 10,000 New Yorkers currently waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant.
