Natural Areas Conservancy aims to direct New Yorkers to natural areas and the more than 300 miles of trails in NYC’s parks, plus show the social and health benefits of connecting with nature in the city, all for free!
The Natural Areas Conservancy is the only nonprofit in New York City focused on the care of our 20,000 acres of forests, wetlands, and grasslands through research, advocacy, partnerships, and stewardship. They also convene a 21-city network of experts to preserve, improve, and expand urban forests nationally.
