In fact, undocumented and mixed-status families who were previously excluded are now eligible. For assistance applying to for financial support, a group of nonprofits have created a new housing helpline- 212-298-3490- and webpage [bit.ly] for immigrant tenants to access additional information about the New York State Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) [otda.ny.gov] and FASTEN (Funds & Services for Tenants Experiencing Need) [projectparachute.nyc].
