The SAGE Is for You campaign is meant to spread awareness of the programs, resources and, most importantly, community that is available to LGBTQ+ elders in NYC at SAGE's four SAGE Centers. The hope is that older LGBTQ+ adults of all backgrounds will step into a SAGE Center and find a safe and affirming space, especially during a time when maybe LGBTQ+ feel threatened.
At SAGE, they envision a world where LGBTQ+ elders are valued, have limitless opportunities, and thrive. Since 1978, they have led the way in advocating for policies, services, and resources that empower LGBTQ+ elders to live openly and authentically. SAGE dedicated team members work nationally and globally to protect our rights, build health and longevity, and preserve the vibrancy of our community as we age.
