About this PSA

Unclaimed funds are money or the rights to money that have been dormant or forgotten. Some common examples include: closed savings accounts, checking accounts, uncashed checks, telephone/utility deposits, security deposits, wages and others. Every day, New York State returns $1.5 million in “unclaimed funds” to those who file claims with the Office of the New York State Comptroller. Some of it might be yours! Submit a claim:
