Make the Road New York builds the power of immigrant and working class communities to achieve dignity and justice. With over 28,000 members across New York, our model integrates four core strategies for concrete change: Legal and survival services to tackle discrimination, abuse and poverty; transformative education to develop community members’ abilities to lead our organization, our movement, and society; community organizing to transform the systems and power structures impacting our communities; and policy innovation to rewrite unjust rules and make our democracy truly accountable to all of us. This PSA is available in Spanish and English.
Starting Saturday, June 14, until Sunday, June 22, New York’s registered voters enrolled in a political party can begin making their voices heard in the upcoming NYC primaries. Early voting means avoiding potential lines on Tuesday, June 24th, Election Day, and your vote counts just the same. What matters is that you make your voice heard through your vote! Find your early voting or election day poll site at: findmypollsite.vote.nyc. P.S. New York City voters will be using ranked-choice voting. To learn more, visit: vote.nyc/page/ranked-choice-voting.
